Respect for the animals
After reading your Respect on the Roads campaign over the past few weeks, and noting the many varied responses, I wonder what readers would think of a Respect for Animals campaign?
Just recently, as I was walking in Alfreton town centre precinct, I saw a small group of young mums sitting around eating lunch.
They didn’t seem to care that their young toddlers were kicking defenceless pigeons that were scrabbling around for food.
When I said ‘don’t let him do that’ they all laughed out loud. So come on, let’s get a campaign started.
