Police appeal after trailer is stolen from Wirksworth garage

Officers from the Wirksworth Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after thieves targeted a garage in the town.

Sometime between 1am and 1.15am yesterday morning (Wednesday, June 15), offenders, believed to be two men, approached a mechanics along Derby Road, Wirksworth and stole a trailer that was being stored on the yard.

One of the men was described as being of stocky build with grey hair. He wore dark clothing and is believed to have been driving a white or silver hatchback vehicle with a squared back.
