Injured sledging boy transferred from Peak to hospital


The air ambulance was mobilised by about 4pm and was at the scene by 4:26pm, on Saturday, February 7.
The young boy had become injured in a sledging accident down the hill.

Hide AdDLRAA’s crew assessed him at the scene and arranged for pain relief and a swift transfer to a land ambulance for him.
He was transferred by land ambulance to Sheffield Children’s Hospital for further assessment.
DLRAA are currently recruiting for volunteers in all the counties they operate in.
