Last year we dreamed of bringing a Twinprov Show to Buxton Fringe, this year we are here!
Twinprov are an improv comedy duo Julie Flower and Sarah Davies, with matching dresses and an incredible height difference!
Last year, we had the BEST time bringing the littlest twin Julie’s solo theatre show Grandma’s Shop to the Working Men’s Club at Buxton Fringe (and it’s returning this year too!). It also lit a spark in us – for a while we had been developing ideas for a brand-new improvised show. Being immersed in such an incredible venue and festival really made us think; how could we create an experience that was as exciting, spontaneous and involving as what we were experiencing? And so, The Improvised Surprise Party was born!
We’d love audiences to join us for our fun, immersive improvised party where the star of the show might just be….them! You see, we’re RUBBISH party planners. Everything’s gone wrong! Can our audience help us to create a show? There’s no obligation to get involved...they’ll get a party bag anyway!
We’ve been rocking connected ridiculous improv in matching dresses since 2017, and regularly perform and coach improv nationally and internationally with shows including Bassoonprov and Chekhov’s Pie, in London, Brighton, Edinburgh and Oslo amongst others.

The Improvised Surprise Party is the newest show and has so far been performed to enthusiastic party-goers at Faversham Fringe, Dover Fringe and DDG Improv London.
