At Winsford, manager Chris Willcock kept faith with the same starting eleven that suffered defeat on Saturday.
In a frantic opening it was the visitors who settled the quicker and it was defender Young who struck first, less than a quarter of an hour into the game, when he prodded home after getting the final touch to a corner.

Bailey, who netted in the defeat to Ashton, again found the back of the net only for the linesman to judge that he was offside.
