TRAVEL ALERT: Traffic delays near Chesterfield town centre after crash
Motorists are currently, today, Sunday, December 6, suffering delays after a road traffic collision has caused congestion near Chesterfield town centre.
Traffic has been moving slowly around the A617, from about 4.30pm, and around Lord’s Mill Street and between the A632 Hollis Lane and Hassocky Lane.
Derbyshire fire service confirmed that the collision involved several vehicles at the Horns Bridge roundabout, at Chesterfield, which joins the A617, and one person has been reported trapped in a vehicle.
Firefighters from Chesterfield, Staveley and Clay Cross were called out to the incident with police and the ambulance service.
