The High Peak lodge of Freemasons made a donation of £500 towards the replacement and refurbishment of musical instruments for the 2517 Buxton Squadron Air Training Corps.

One of the talents the squadron, made up of young people from around the High Peak, is proud of is the performance of the Corps of Drums.
