“We had nearly 100 applications to play the festival from up and down the country and had a great time sifting through and listening to each of them.

“We’ve tried to bring together a range of styles so there will definitely be something for everyone.”

The line-up for Saturday and Sunday will include Alberteen, DopeSickFly, Ellie Dibben, Miasma, I Set the Sea on Fire, Dave Gorman, Sphelm, The Orchid Hunters, Rebecca De Winter, The Feckless, The Mind at Large and Ed Pearson.

Pump Room Live is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Buxton Crescent and Thermal Spa Co Ltd, High Peak Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council who are funding the restoration of the Crescent and Pump Room. The event is also supported by Vision Buxton and the Old Hall Hotel.

The Pump Room was built in 1894 for the 7th Duke of Devonshire. Phase one of the restoration of this listed building is complete. In 2018 the Pump will become a source of information on its spa heritage and characters linked to the Crescent.
