Go Ape kits out Buxton Ladies as new sponsor
Treetop adventure site backs local women’s football as it prepares to celebrate 20 years in the town
Go Ape Buxton has announced that it is the new sponsor of Buxton Ladies Football Team, with the Go Ape logo now appearing on the sleeve of the team’s blue home kit.
The partnership shows Go Ape’s commitment to the local community and to getting more people active, whether that’s on the football pitch or among the treetops.
Go Ape Buxton Commercial Site Manager John Wakeham said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Buxton Ladies this season. Women’s football is growing fast, and we’re proud to back a local team that shows such commitment and team spirit.
“Our site is part of the Buxton community, and this is a great way to give something back.”
The announcement comes ahead of a big year for the adventure company. Next year, the Buxton site will celebrate its 20th anniversary, and Go Ape as a company will mark its 25th birthday.
Since opening, the Buxton course has welcomed thousands of visitors, from first-time adventurers, birthday parties and family days out together.
