Boss Steve Cunningham wants his side to go and enjoy themselves and show what they can do in front of the BBC cameras.

“It's a game that has added pressure with it being on tv and all that comes with it, but there's no pressure from the club that we have to win the game,” he said.

“This is the one game we go into as clear underdogs, where we can enjoy a game of football and leave it all out on the pitch.

“I’m confident that if we do that then we could be talking about a glamour tie in the next round.”

With excitement levels, peaking around the town Cunningham is all too aware of the need for his players to stay focused.

“It is my job as the manager to show calmness and to manage expectations,” he added.

“A lot of the players have day jobs which will help them, you're not thinking about it when working or with the family.

“It is an emotional up and down time for the players and the reality will kick in on Friday night.

“Even for the likes of Jamie Ward, they are still playing in one of the biggest games of their career due to what it means for them at this moment in time.

“I don't care how old or how experienced you are, it's still hugely exciting to be playing for a place in the third round in front of the BBC cameras. All of a sudden it's a massive game.

“Even Cristiano Ronaldo would be excited because he is a winner and that's what we have got here.

“It is being able to maintain the reality of the situation. It is exciting but it can't take over. It's a one off game, but a special one.”
