Wildlife artist to demonstrate work at Buxton exhibition

Eric, who has been studying wildlife for over 20 years, has painted a wide variety of animals in their natural habitats right across the globe, including lions, tigers, elephants, leopards, rhinos, gorillas, wolves, black bears and polar bears.

Everything he paints is a result of extensive field research, observing the animals in the wild and travelling with expert local guides.

Eric has won awards with the Wildlife Art Society, had his work sold in Christies’ prestigious wildlife art auctions and won international recognition for his paintings, including sell-out exhibitions in the UK, Europe and United States.

A passionate supporter of conservation, Eric is an active supporter of the tiger, and has donated paintings to raise funds and highlight awareness of their plight.

Having recently moved to Buxton, Eric has joined local art group High Peak Artists and exhibits with them all-year round at Gallery in the Gardens in the Pavilion Gardens.

Eric’s work will be on display in the Art Café at the Pavilion Gardens until July 6.

The exhibition is free to enter and open every day, between 9.30am and 5pm.

He will also be demonstrating his art on Saturday May 18 and Sunday June 16, when he will chat about his work and share tips.
