Shakespeare’s story of greed, duplicity, disguise and forgiveness will be staged by the family-run company at Markeaton Park Craft Village, Derby, on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19.

Lear is retiring and dividing his assets between his three daughters. The competition is on. When his youngest and favourite daughter refuses to join in, her two ugly sisters eagerly snap up her portion. Lear soon discovers that forming a bubble with his elder daughters is not as comfortable as he assumed it would be.
