Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets will play Pink Floyd songs live in Nottingham and Sheffield

Pink Floyd fans will be able to see drummer Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets band playing at Nottingham and Sheffield.

The five-piece group – which includes Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp – will play early compositions by Pink Floyd at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on April 28, 2022 and Sheffield City Hall on April 30, 2022.

Nick Mason is a founder member of Pink Floyd, remaining in the line-up since 1965 and the only musician to have played on all of their albums.

Gary’s credits include principal songwriter and lead guitarist for Spandau Ballet and appearing in The Krays film with his brother Martin, who was also in the Eighties chart-topping band.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets played their first gigs in London in 2018 which were the founder's first musical outings since Pink Floyd’s Division Bell tour in 1994.

The band went on to sell-out theatres around the world including three nights at London’s Roundhouse, where Pink Floyd played some of their most revered early shows in the 1960s.

The 2022 tour will see the band play songs from Pink Floyd’s early catalogue up to the 1972 album ‘Obscured by Clouds’.

Nick Mason has been honoured as Prog magazine’s Prog God at the Progressive Music Awards, following in the footsteps of Peter Gabriel, Rick Wakeman, Ian Anderson and Steve Howe.
