André Rieu entertains fans in online Magical Maastricht concert

He has chosen some of his favourite performances for the Magical Maastricht presentation which viewers can watch in the comfort of their own home from December 19, 2020 to January 3, 2021.

The 150-minute concert features popular classics, songs from opera, film and musical, enchanting waltzes and of course very special guests like Jermaine Jackson, David Hasselhoff, Los del Rio, the late Trini Lopez and many more!

Relive some of André’s greatest performances such as Lara’s Theme from Doctor Zhivago, danced by 300 professional dancing couples or the Parade of the Charioteers from the movie Ben Hur.

Magical Maastricht includes some of Andre’s most uplifting and moving performances such as You Raise Me Up, Volare, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Amigos para siempre and The Blue Danube.

Andre said: “I hope this special concert lifts your spirits and fills your hearts with joy. I’ve always said music brings people together and I’m so happy we can spend a few hours together this Christmas and rejoice in music!”

Like all musicians, André and his Johann Strauss orchestra have been deeply affected by the pandemic. Since March they haven’t performed a single concert and it has been heartbreaking not being able to travel the world, make music together and be with their fans.
