Rugby Union: Bucks set for Plate final

The match will take place at Matlock RFC, with kick-off at 12.30pm.

The game is part of the NLD Senior Finals Day and is the second of four matches that will be staged, along with the Vase, Shield and Cup matches.

The Bucks recently sealed a fifth-placed finish in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three, after a final day 43-10 win over Capenhurst.

Last week they contested the Derbyshire Cup semi-final away against Chesterfield Panthers, eventually going down 39-8.

Chesterfield sealed the Midlands Division Four East championship earlier this month and their performance was befitting of a side high on momentum, as they strolled to a six-try victory and booked a meeting with Amber Valley in the final.
