Racing resumes at Errwood Sailing Club

Thirteen teams took part in the Autumn Regatta.

The Autumn Regatta saw 13 boats take on challenging conditions due to the blustery winds.

This included seven adult boats and six juniors, including a contingent from Buxton Sea Cadets.

The regatta consisted of three races with close racing in each race. The variable winds ensured that no boats could race away and the final scores reflected the close competition between the sailors.

The Juniors was won by Bea Davis winning the juniors in a Laser 4.7, with Lucy Bamford second (RS Neo) and Ella Clayton third (Topper).

The adults’ competition was won by Mike Russell in a Laser with Mark Ashmore second (RS Vareo) and Nikki Buckley third (RS Vareo).
