Medals aplenty in Swindon

Members of Eastwood Taekwondo Academy were again in fine form as they took part at the British International Championships in Swindon..

They brought back a total of one gold medal, nine silvers and eight bronze, including:

Holly Phillips 4th Kup Blue Belt - bronze (sparring)

G Betts 5th Kup green belt - silver (sparring), bronze (pattern)

Rachel Burdett Junior 5th Kup green belt - silver (pattern)

Vesta Daukintyte 6th Kup green belt - silver (sparring), bronze (pattern)

Richard Steel 7th Kup yellow belt - silver (sparring), bronze (pattern)

The two-day event was enjoyed by over 600 competitors, from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, Germany,Sweden, Netherlands and Spain.

Master Nicholls 8th Dan, President of UKITF, hosted the prestigious event.
