Hefty winning margin for Lee in time trial

Buxton Cycling Club’s most recent time trial was a hill climb up the steep and narrow lane between Jenkin Chapel, Saltersford and Pym Chair.

This was the second event in the club’s 3 Hills competition which this year consists of the climbs up the three lanes which all lead to the high point at Pym Chair.

This climb, which has the shortest and steepest of the three routes, was won by a clear margin of just over 20 seconds by Lee Baldwin, who has just finished a successful season of road races culminating in the achievement of 1st category status a few weeks ago.
