Over 30 children took part in the Buxton FC football camp at Harpur Hill Primary School last week, part of the club’s ‘Bucks in the Community’ scheme and in association with Chris Hill Community Sports.

Activities ranged from football skills, techniques and activities to street soccer and crossbar challenges, culminating in a hotly-contested competition day.

Bucks Community Coach Chris Hill said: “It has again been a great success and is going from strength to strength.

“All the children have been excellent and enjoyed every minute.

“Credit must also go to the coaches from the University of Derby, everyone at the football club and Harpur Hill Primary School for providing such excellent facilities.

“It is again great to see our local football club as a focal point of the community and introducing Buxton FC to its next generation of supporters ready for the 2013/14 season.”
