The sport is a hybrid of football and golf, with the aim of the game to kick a standard size 4 or 5 football from a teeing area to a 21” hole located anything from 65 – 175 yards away.

Players record the number of kicks on each hole and the winner is the person who gets round the nine holes in the least number of kicks.

Cavendish GC, located in Buxton, is proud to be the first footgolf course in the county.

The 1,008 yards, par 37 course is guaranteed to delight everyone from new players out for an hour or two of fun, right through to Elite players looking to rack up National Ranking Event points.

Famous for it’s spectacular views, abundance of wildlife and peaceful and tranquil setting, the club is now looking to attract a whole new generation of players to the newly-created sport.

Sunday April 26 sees the club launch a special event, with prices set at just £5 adults and £3 under-16s.
