5. Pompey close in on defender

Hull City are keen on signing Huddersfield Town winger Sorba Thomas, who is currently out on loan in France with Nantes. 8. Wycombe sign Berry
League One high-fliers Wycombe Wanderers have signed Chesterfield winger James Berry for an undisclosed fee. Berry, 24, joined the Spireites from Macclesfield Town in August 2023 and helped them win the National League title last season.
