Cup final penalty agony for Glossop North End AFC Juniors
Glossop North End AFC Juniors entered the inaugural Manchester FA Futsal Cup for U10 Girls.
The GNE juniors, under the instruction of High Peak Coach of the Year Zoey Shaw and Ben Mills, played five games in the tournament and made it through to the final.
They lost 3-2 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out after nine spot kicks for each side. Emily, Sofia, Jasmine, Thalia, Lily and Mia represented the U10s.
It was their first experience of futsal and playing in a competitive tournament showed skill, effort and positive attitudes.
