Buxton took the lead early on with Ethan Carter rounding the keeper and calmly slotting the ball home.
Buxton continued to put the pressure on as they looked for a decisive second.
And the goal came when Jake Hodgson drilled the ball into the bottom right coner from 30 yards to complete the win.
