It has been another good morning for the former Derbyshire all-rounder Graham Wagg and Glamorgan on the third day of the LV County Championship Division Two match at Chesterfield.

Following his half century yesterday, Wagg took two wickets against his ex-county as Derbyshire struggled in between four stoppages for rain at Queen’s Park and at lunch were 169 for 5, 241 behind.

Michael Hogan made the first breakthrough of the morning when he had skipper Wayne Madsen caught at third slip for 24 and then Wagg got the ball to swing in overcast conditions to have Billy Godleman lbw for 53 and Wes Durston taken in the slips for one.

Derbyshire lost three wickets for seven in 17 balls but Shiv Thakor and Alex Hughes batted through 10 overs although they still need another 92 to avoid the follow-on.
