Derbyshire loan all-rounder Ed Barnes until end of season
The 22-year-old joined up with the squad ahead of the Bob Willis Trophy match away to Leicestershire.
The fast-bowler has been a consistent performer in Yorkshire’s Academy and latterly Second XI, taking 152 wickets since 2013.

With Ravi Rampaul’s arrival delayed by the extension of border closures in Trinidad and Tobago, Barnes will provide added depth in Derbyshire’s seam bowling attack during the condensed 2020 season.
Head of Cricket, Dave Houghton, said Barnes would bring quality and depth to the Derbyshire squad.
He said: “With the quick turnaround in games, it’s vital that we have a good number of quality seam bowlers to rotate.

“I’d like to thank Yorkshire for allowing Ed to join us on loan and I’m looking forward to seeing him grasp this opportunity to impress in a first-team environment.”
Barnes added: “My game has come on a lot in recent years and I’m ready to make the step up to first-class cricket.
“Derbyshire have a really exciting pace attack and hopefully I can offer something different and contribute whenever I get an opportunity.”
