Cricket: Derby rivals to clash in cup quarter-finals

The draws have been made for the quarter-finals of the PS Derbyshire & Cheshire League cup competitions.

Among the mouth-watering ties in the Bissenden Cup is the clash between 1st XI high-flyers Dinting and Mottram.

New Mills host neighbours Birch Vale, while Hayfield travel to Compstall.

In the Hawke Trophy, Buxworth entertain New Mills, 2013 finalists Old Glossop travel to Mottram and Dinting make the trip to Woodley.

The games are scheduled to be played on Sunday June 29, at 2pm.

Bissenden Cup: Hazel Grove v Broadbottom; Dinting v Mottram, New Mills v Birch Vale, Compstall v Hayfield.

Hawke Trophy: Broadbottom v Newton; Mottram v Old Glossop, Woodley v Dinting, Buxworth v New Mills.
