Cricket: Big wins for Buxton U11s
Drawn against each other in the first game, Buxton A batted first with Noah McCahill hitting a six, but the top-scoring partnership was 16 from Adam Munden and Max Graham.
Dominic Cusco bowled well, conceding just two runs, and the pick of the bowlers was James Galloway-Booth with two wickets.

Hide AdBuxton A got off to a strong start with the ball, with a wicket for Tom Wager. For Buxton B, Freddie Eddies hit a huge six to help get back on level terms.
However, the decisive performance was by Adam Twigg who took three wickets in the final over to seal a 232-3 to 207-9 victory for the ‘A’ side.
In their next round of matches, both Buxton teams enjoyed comprehensive victories. Buxton A beat Darley Dale B 255-1 to 211-5. Wicket-takers were Adam Munden, James Tighe, Max Graham and Noah McCahill.
All contributed with the bat, with Sam Langer and Klaudiusz Zerulik sharing a partnership of 15.

Hide AdBuxton B beat Ashbourne B 276-1 to 204-5. Harry Walters and James Galloway-Booth both took two wickets, with Alfie Buxton-Cox picking up the other.
Top-scorer Charlie Pheasey (22) and Elliot Eddies put on the highest partnership, while Dan Taylor played some well-timed shots and showed smart running that was a feature through the team.
