Buxton Rugby Union Football Club juniors get new kit

Young Buxton rugby players are now sporting new kit with a splash of purple on their distinctive red and blue colours, thanks to sponsorship from Hope Construction Materials' Dowlow Quarry.

The company has sponsored the kit for Buxton’s U15s team, the majority of whom have played for the Club since they were seven.

They play matches in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, as well as Derbyshire.

U15s coach Kevin Morris said: “Buxton Rugby Club has enjoyed close links with Hope Construction Materials.

“It is down to them that our car park is much improved – they donated and delivered a load of stone here a couple of years ago.

“It’s been a pleasure to continue this partnership and see our U15s go out in their new kit with the Hope purple and white shield logo on the front. Let’s hope the new kit spurs them on to another successful season.”

Dowlow Quarry Manager Daran Murray said: “We pride ourselves on supporting the local communities around our operations.

“This was a great opportunity for us to give some very practical support to a very important local sports club. The kit look very smart and we look forward to hearing how the Under 15s get on this season.”
