Buxton Half Marathon still open for entries
The 33rd instalment of the half marathon takes place on Sunday (May 25), starting at 10am.
The event is largely considered a challenging race, but it does have the advantage of taking in the picturesque countryside.

Hide AdLast year’s event saw a sizeable field of over 230 runners take part with Dale Annable from Heanor RC striding to victory with a time of one hour, 16 minutes and 58 seconds.
Details of how to enter can be found at www.buxtonac.org.uk, whilst people are also able to register on the morning of the race.
Entry is £10 for UKA affiliated athletes and £12.00 for unaffiliated runners.
