Built in the 18th century and containing the remains of around six million people, the famous Paris Catacombs are the latest attraction to join in the fun.

How does it work?

Usually costing €14 to visit in person, the virtual catacombs tour offers a 360 degree exploration of Paris's creepiest attraction, free of charge. The detail is fantastic, and you can even zoom into images to see some of the grisly remains up close.

To visit, all you need to do is head to the Catacombs website and begin your tour. You can use your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to explore.
