Weather forecasters have predicted that snow could fall on three days in Buxton this week.

Following hill snow it will be fine this afternoon patchy rain could linger in the south for a time. Windy. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

It will remain windy tonight turning cold under long clear spells, staying largely dry too, apart from the odd shower to the west, with a slight frost forming. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Tuesday will be less windy than Monday, though remaining cold in a fresh northwesterly breeze. A dry morning, but showers becoming increasingly more widespread through the afternoon, some wintry. Ice risk overnight. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Snowfall, some heavy is forecast from 6am-10am on Tuesday and 12 noon Tuesday until 9pm Wednesday.

According to the Met Office Wednesday to Friday looks predominantly cold, with a few wintry showers, but some bright spells. A chance of rain and hill snow Thursday and Friday.
