Heavy snow to hit Buxton on Monday: Hour-by-hour forecast as Met Office issues forecast

Heavy snow has been forecast for Buxton in the early hours of Monday.

Today will be cloudy and windy to start with persistent rain, turning heavy at times before it clears around mid-morning. Largely dry thereafter with sunny spells developing in the afternoon, but it will be rather breezy and feel quite chilly. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

It will be a dry evening , but cloud increasing from the southwest and rain spreading in shortly after midnight. This will turn heavy at times and wintry over the Derbyshire hills. Minimum temperature 1 °C.y:

Heavy, persistent rain and hill snow will clear around midday, a ldry afternoon with sunny spells. Windy, with gales on hills. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
