Tuesday, March 8: Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will gradually spread southeastwards, potentially giving a risk of ice across the Peak District. Any snow will be confined to the Peak District, possibly producing locally small accumulations. Becoming drier later this afternoon.

Briefly dry, some perhaps early clear spells across northern areas. Overnight temperatures will rise as rain, sleet or snow arrives. The snow will be mostly limited to the Peak District.
