WEATHER: 'Extensive fog' expected in East Midlands
Weather forecasters have predicted extensive fog across the region today (March 15).
The Met Office has said this morning will remain chilly with light winds and lots of clouds in the region. Highs of 9°C.
Large areas of cloud will lower later this evening with fog “becoming quite extensive across the area”. Dense patches are also possible, with continuing winds. Lows of 4°C.
Tomorrow will begin misty with remaining fog - but it will turn brighter throughout the day with sunshine appearing by the afternoon. Highs of 9°C.
