A major incident has been declared at the Fairfeld Centre in Buxton after flames broke out at around 3.30pm.
Video and footage from the scene suggests a large part of the building in Victoria Park Road has been destroyed in the inferno.

Hide AdA spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said that all persons had been accounted for.
It is not known how many people were inside the community centre or what is behind the cause of the fire at this stage.
A fire service spokesman said that five crews from Buxton were dealing with the incident as well as crews from across Derbyshire.
People are being asked to stay away from the area and drivers are also being told to avoid the Victoria Park Road area.
