UPDATE: Derbyshire traffic and travel

There are no reports of major disruption from any incidents on Derbyshire’s roads this morning.

There is some disruption both ways on the B6025 Alfreton Road in Westhouses at the Tibshelf Road Junction – due to a traffic light failure in the roadworks area.

Medium delays include a on the A619 in Holymoorside between Holymoor Road and Brookside Bar as temporary traffic lights cause some congestion.

Ongoing works on the A628 at Crowden near Sheepwash Corner are causing medium delays.

Gas main work and temporary traffic lights on the A6 Buxton Road in New Mills are causing medium delays at the Goyt View junction.

Resurfacing work is causing medium delays on Highgate Road in Hayfield, between Chapel Road, Hayfield and Church Road, Chinley Head.

Ongoing gas main work and temporary traffic lights in Duffield, with works on Broadway in between Wirksworth Road and Cumberhills Road junctions.

And in Chesterfield some minor delays due to roadworks on Boythorpe Road with temporary lights near the Boythorpe Avenue junction.
