Two cows rescued from 10ft sinkhole in Derbyshire
Crews from Matlock and Buxton attended a call-out to rescue two calves which became stuck when a ten foot sink hole appeared at Monsal Head, Monsal Dale.
The crews were called out on Sunday, May 15 to rescue the animals, Matlock provided the rope rescue and Buxton were the fire and rescue team.
They dug around the hole to gain better access and both calves were released and unhurt.
