TRAFFIC: Derbyshire

THe following traffic incidents are causing minor delays in Derbyshire on Wednesday, May 3.

The A50 Derbyshire Westbound is congested at A515 Sudbury with slow traffic Westbound at Sudbury roundabout.

The A617 Derbyshire Eastbound is also congested at M1 Junction 29 with slow traffic at Heath.

Severe delays continue due to roadworks at Snake pass, A57, with diversions adding 40 minutes onto journeys. Snake Pass is closed in both directions between the Hurst Road junction in Glossop and Ladybower Reservoir in Bamford. Diversion in operation - A6013 through Bamford, A6187 through Hope and Castleton, B6049 to and from Sparrowpit, A623 and A6 past Chapel-en-le-Frith, A6015 between New Mills and Hayfield and A624 to and from Glossop. Diversion adds an extra 19 miles to journey times.
