The Hitmen will again use rider replacement to cover for the injured David Wallinger who sustained a broken foot in the meeting against Belle Vue at the National Speedway Stadium.

Team manager Josh Moss said:“It is going to be a very difficult meeting against Birmingham on Sunday and we will be doing our best to cover for Dave (Wallinger) with rider replacement for the time being after he broke a bone in his foot at Belle Vue last week.

“The boys still need time to adapt and establish themselves as home riders and hopefully that will come quickly enough.

“Birmingham who have once again assembled a very strong side with three real number 1’s and throughout their team with strong back up at 2 and 4 along with riders at reserve who are more than capable of scoring points as Leon Flint has been doing for them so far this season.
