Three men and two women charged following a robbery at a travel agents in Glossop

Five people have been charged with various offences after a robbery at the Co-op Travel store on High Street West on July 29, 2016.

Staff were allegedly threatened by two men and assaulted; a large amount of cash was stolen.

Stephen Pattison (41) of Walker Avenue, Stalybridge was charged with robbery and remanded in custody; he is due to appear, along with the other four people, at Stockport Magistrates Court on March 20.

Stephen Davison (38) of Milverton Avenue, Hattersley was charged with assisting an offender. Katie Higgins (35) of Walker Avenue, Stalybridge and Amy Perkins (23) of Stringer Close, Mottram were both charged with Proceeds of Crime Act offences.

Karl Taylor who is 39 of Howard Place, Hyde was charged on December 9, 2016 and was remanded in prison custody, he is due to attend Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday, June 5 for trial.

A fourth man, Ian Cunningham (37) from Stalybridge, Tameside and pictured above, is currently wanted in connection with the robbery and Derbyshire police have released a wanted appeal in a bid to locate him.

He has connections to Derbyshire, Manchester, Staffordshire and Cheshire and is also wanted on recall to prison.
