Success rewarded at awards evening

Youngsters finished the summer term on a high with an evening dedicated to all their achievements throughout the year.

Fairfield Endowed Junior School organised its very first end-of-year awards evening.

It was attended by many children, parents, carers and governors and it rewarded children for effort, progress, achievement, artistic achievements and contribution to the community.

The school choir and the newly established guitar group provided a musical interlude. It was a complete success and children and adults alike thought it was a fantastic idea which will be repeated in the following years.
