Scout group benefits from fundraising efforts
A Scout leader was guest of honour at a charity dinner.
Members of the Cheshire Cheese Buxton Lodge RAOB held their charity dinner which was attended by Ken Swift, group Scout leader for 17th Buxton (Fairfield) Scout Group.
Every year The Buffs nominate a local charity that they raise money for, and during 2015 they chose 17th Buxton (Fairfield) Scout Group. During the year, they held various activities including, tombola’s, quiz nights, football cards and raffles.
Mr Swift was presented with a cheque for £1325.
