REVEALED: Top speeding location in Buxton

Almost 300 people were caught speeding in Buxton over the last 12 months.

A Freedom of Information request to Derbyshire Constabulary revealed that 275 drivers were caught going over the limit on roads in the area.

The offences took place in just two locations since March 2015.

On the A5004 - which has a speed limit of 40 mph - 96 drivers were caught going over the limit.

But the most notorious speeding spot in Buxton, which caught 151 people over the 50 mph limit, is the A515 from Buxton to Ashbourne.
