£15,000 reward for information on Matlock bank robbery

A bounty has been placed on the head of a man who threatened staff at a Matlock bank with a gun before making off with £4,000.

The British Bank Association is offering a reward of up to £15,000 to anyone with information about the robbery, which took place at the Royal Bank of Scotland yesterday (Wednesday, February 18), that leads to a conviction.

A man entered the bank in Snitterton Road, Matlock, at 2.30pm, threatened staff with a gun and made off with the cash.

He was wearing a black hat, black scarf, black gloves and a black Nike coat which had a grey and blue logo, a blue zip and blue lining in the hood.

Police have released the above image of a man they wish to speak to in connection to the robbery.
