Preview: Buxton Hitmen face tough test against Kent Kings
The Hitmen will face a stern test against the Kings who again look strong for the 2018 season and are formidable around their home circuit.
The Kings are led by Luke Bowen who is vastly experienced around the Central Park track and he is well supported by youngster Jack Thomas who has been impressive so far this season along with Nathan Stoneman making a solid top end trio and with Anders Rowe and Taylor Hampshire who made the switch from Birmingham in the closed season they have more than capable back up.

Hide AdWell-travelled Alex Spooner who made numerous guest appearances around the country was given the green light to take one of the reserve berths with Jacob Clouting completing the Kent septet.
The Hitmen are again expected to be without David Wallinger and will use rider replacement in his absence and Ben Wilson said:“It’s a massive task for us at Kent on Monday they are really strong around their home track but this is speedway and anything can happen.
“We will be going down there open minded there is no pressure on us and we will put on a show race the bikes hard and you never know we might just come away with something, but there is no doubt it will be hard especially without David (Wallinger) and we need him back quickly.”
