Police probe incident in High Peak village

Police are investigating a ‘public order incident’ in a High Peak village.

Officers say they are continuing with enquiries into the incident, but have declined to go into more detail of what occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the village of Chinley.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said the force received a report of a ‘public order incident’ in Chinley shortly after 2.30pm on Tuesday.

The spokesperson added: “Enquiries are currently ongoing.”

No arrests have been made.
