Police appeal after prisoner with Derbyshire links absconds from prison

A convicted burglar who was sentenced to more than five years in prison has absconded from HMP Sudbury.

Scott Harris, who was jailed at Stafford Crown Court in 2012, left the open prison on Saturday, November 1.

The 39-year-old is white, about 6ft 1in, of medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm.

Harris, who was sentenced to five years and four months for burglary, has links to the Swadlincote area of Derbyshire.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident 695 of November 1.
