Plan to light up Buxton this Christmas
Winter is coming, but Buxton Town Team aims to banish the gloom with an idea which should light up the streets for Christmas.
They are appealing for everyone to adopt a tree or a lamp-post and decorate it in advance of the now traditional lantern parade organised by Buxton Sparkles. Details are still being worked out, but December 3 has been earmarked for the day when the decorations will be installed.
Town Team member Tina Heathcote said: “We want to make our town look a little more loved.”
