The special event organised Buxton Town Team is part of the bigger Buxton on the Move initiative, which is looking at how people travel in and out of the town and to try to reduce some of the problems.
Project leader and town team member Tina Heathcote said: “It was a lovely day and really do think it opened people’s eyes to the various different types of transport out there.

After that the results will be analysed by the University of Derby and presented to both Derbyshire County Council and High Peak Borough Council to try and formulate a town wide travel plan.
Tina said: “We wanted to use this day as a come and try experience from electric cars to electric bikes and hope people take something positive away from it and realise a car is not always the best option but see how to make a change.”
