Becky, who owns Beauty by Becky, said that as it was October, which is breast cancer awareness month, she would do the fundraiser for a breast cancer charity.

“I have clients who have had a breast removed and a friend recently diagnosed with breast cancer so I just wanted to show my support to them and everyone else.”

Matthew, 37 from Chapel-en-le-Frith and Nathan, 33, from Dove Holes were given their makeover in Rems Bar in Chapel.

“So I think that has helped to boost the total up but I never thought we would get this much money.”

The tans should last up to 10 days and Matthew’s son has already said he does not want his dad taking him to football while he has a tan.

Becky added: “But the point is to get people talking, asking questions, digging into their pockets and donating to a good cause and of course making people smile.”The online donation page is still active and support the duo with their fundraising mission visit
